Hello From Avril!

In my quiet studio tucked among the rolling fields of Northern Ireland, I create more than just jewellery — I create memories.⁠

My journey began with four very special animals: Monty and Lucy, my loyal dogs; Cherry, my gentle horse; and Lucky, my plucky little cat. Though they’re no longer by my side, they’re always in my heart — and in every piece I design. Each little sheep, dog, or cow I craft carries a spark of their spirit and a reminder of the love we shared.⁠

Today, my new companion Ziggy — full of life and personality — sits by me as I work. He’s the latest chapter in a life spent loving animals, and he brings his own inspiration to my bench.  He also makes sure I get regular breaks to take him for a walk!!⁠

My passion for animals is what started Fresh Fleeces — a place where people who adore animals can find something truly special. Every necklace, bracelet, and pair of earrings I make is handmade with care, right here in my studio. My hope is that each piece helps you celebrate your own connection with the animals who leave pawprints (and hoofprints) on your heart.⁠
