Dog Loss Jewellery

As someone who has loved and lost many pets over the years, I know only too well what a big responsibility it is to create a lasting reminder of these animals.

When designing a piece of custom jewellery, it's great to see as many photos as possible of the animal to get an idea not only what the animal looked like, but also to try and get a feel for their personality.

Making a piece of jewellery that looks like a much-loved dog or cat is a big responsibility, but a challenge that I love. I really get invested in the process from the initial email, through to the design and finally the crafting stage. When I finally pop the piece of jewellery in the post, it is both a joy to have been part of creating something so personal, but also quite a bit of fear on how it will be received.

As I haven't met most of these pets, there is always the chance it won't be quite right. So it's always such a wonderful feeling to read a review like the one Ditte left recently for her 'Jasper' Newfoundland necklace. I feel so privileged to have been able to make something that will remind Ditte of happy times for many years to come.

Our order book for commissions is quickly filling up so if you have an idea for a piece of jewellery do email me some photos. I'll get back to you with a no-obligation quote and the price isn't always as high as you might think!
